First day of school

We obviously haven't hit the monumental first day of kindergarten yet with Molly, but Jer did start his 15th year at Marymount today...a pretty big milestone I'd say.  Molly got to go with him for the first couple hours.  She apparently had a great time greeting all the new students and getting right in the mix of things. 

Wake up!

Molly really likes being in her crib...this week all of her "friends" came over to greet her when she woke up from her nap.  As you can see, she was thrilled!

A trip to Grandma's

While Jer's been in Alaska catching lots of fish this week, Molly and I headed up to Pleasanton to visit Grandma.  The McLeans met us up there en route from Mammoth.  The visit was full of relaxing and playing, including a trip to the Oakland Zoo, the Aquatic Center where Karen and I learned to swim when we were little, and trips to the drive-thru dairy for soft serve cones.  We're very excited to have Jer back home tomorrow though!  Anyone want to come over for some fish?

Between the ducks in Chagrin, all the animals on Grant's Farm, and Ragan (ggma and ggpa's dalmation), Molly had a week full of practicing her animal sounds.  Ask her the next time you see her...she's getting pretty good!

One Fine Day

May I introduce Mr. & Mrs. Benjamin and Laura Sears!  Their wedding was absolutely beautiful in picturesque Chagrin Falls, Ohio.  The new couple is honeymooning through the Napa Valley and San Francisco (yum!) before moving back to DC.  Sure wish they were staying on our coast!

Grant's Farm

We had the privilege of taking a private tour at Grant's Farm with my Aunt Linda, cousins, Justin & Sarah, and their sweet baby, Alex.  We were able to feed many of the animals roaming around and had a special feeding with Bud, the elephant.  Aunt Linda still may be wiping his snot spray off her face!  We also were able to get up close and personal with the Clydesdales...they are amazing animals.
