Happy half birthday, Sawyer!
In honor of Sawyer's 6 month birthday yesterday and because we just needed to get out, we all headed down to Butterfly yesterday when Jer got off work. I forgot how much I love going to the beach in the evenings. It was still a bit chilly, but I'm looking forward soon to dinners on the sand. And as you might guess, Molly did end up in the drink and was carried back to the car stripped down just in Jer's sweatshirt. She didn't seem to mind and a good time was had by all!

Baby Daniel and the Wasses

The derby
A first and probably last for us...we went to the Roller Derby last Saturday night. It was fun one time and definitely it's own little subculture. We couldn't believe how packed it was. As you can see, Sawyer couldn't take his eyes off the ladies in skates.

"Look, I found one!"
Molly (and Sawyer) helped me peel the fava beans we got in our CSA share this week. It actually was nice having her help with the laborious task. Reminiscent of the Easter egg hunt a couple weeks ago, whenever she popped a bean out of the pod, she got very excited and said, "Look, I found one!" Who knows...we might have a future chef on our hands!
