Festival of Lights

While Jer's off partying it up in Vegas, I decided to take the kids to the Festival of Lights at the Van Dusen Gardens.  After a bit of a rough start waiting in line 45 minutes in 32 degree weather, we finally made it in. It was worth the wait...the lights were amazing.  Molly made lots of friends as she sang her way through all the paths (mostly Head, Shoulders, Knees, & Toes and The Hokey Pokey...we're still working on the Christmas carols).  Rather than wait in another line for food, we headed home and finished the night off with mac n cheese and hot chocolate with 7 marshmallows (per Molly's request).

When Groupon goes bad

Any of you who know Jer knows that one of his best qualities is his loyalty.  He's loyal to his family, friends, and even his stylist.  Jer has been seeing Jerilyn at The Salon in SB for over 15 years.  Well, since moving to the big city, he's had to look elsewhere for his styling needs.  Maybe Groupon is not the best place to start looking for a replacement...any of you who knew him in college, are you now remembering his circle glasses and "the fade"?

We discovered a great new pizza place here in town...Pizzeria Farina.  Anyone reading this who lives here should definitely try it out.  And yes, that is a hot dog sticker on Sawyer's cheek...Molly was decorating again.
