STL Activities

Amidst visiting lots of family, we kept ourselves busy in St Louis with a lot of fun activities.  There's so much to do there with kids!  We went up The Arch, to The Butterfly House, The Science Center, The Magic House, and the Zoo.  Next time, we'll have to catch a Cards game.  (warning...this post goes on forever)
The Butterfly House...by far the warmest place in St Louis this time of year

In the capsule heading up the arch

At the top of the arch looking out the tiny windows

At the Science Center looking down below at the cars zooming by on the freeway below

Muscial hopscotch...Molly's favorite at the Science Center

At the Magic House

The water table at the Magic House...Molly would've been happy all day here

Climbing down the beanstalk with Cade...so thankful for older cousins

Sittin' on frogs at the zoo

Molly's first carousel ride...she chose to ride the cabybara (followed by the giraffe then the horse)

Riding on the zoo train with Grandma

The most amazing penguin and puffin exhibit at the zoo...if you ever meet her, ask my Grandma to tell you a poem about puffins.  It's pretty great.

Everybody's growing up around here...

Tonight's Molly's first night in her big girl bed and Sawyer's first night in the crib and out of the bassinet.  So far so good...Molly came out 3 times but after about 10 minutes she got the hang of it and stayed in.  This is her when I went to check in on her just now.  Of course, out of the covers and turned around.  Here's to transitions and to Sawyer hopefully sleeping past 4 am.  Wish us luck!
(Since this blog also serves as our personal pictorial diary, you all get to see and hear about the mundane ins an outs of living with 2 under 2...thanks for sharing with us.)

The bonfire

At Uncle Alan and Aunt Linda's house, the boys and Molly were in heaven getting to build a huge bonfire and hang out with cousin Spencer all afternoon and evening.  (and yes, I have 2 Aunt Lindas and also a mom Linda)

Watch for Alex in the NHL one of these days...man, can that one year old already handle a stick!

St Louis

Hello out there, all you blog readers.  Sorry for the delay in posts...we had a wonderful week in St Louis visiting family (although we missed having Jer and Paul with us) and it's taken me a bit to catch up.  We had such a great time and lots of pictures to prove it!  Here's a start...

We were welcomed with snow on the day we arrived...lots of fun!
