Rain and cookies

We had the first full day of rain yesterday since we came up here.  We took advantage of it by making chocolate chip cookies.

Sollys, yes please!

I think we may have found our new favorite breakfast spot here.  Sollys is a Jewish bakery that has great bagels and amazing cinnamon rolls.  And they open at 7:00...unfortunately, that's perfect for our schedule these days with 2 early risers.

VanDusen Botanical Gardens

The kids and I ventured out to VanDusen Botanical Gardens earlier this week.  It was on the list of things to see and although it was pretty, we aren't rushing to go back.  It has been fun to play tourist and pick out new things to do and see here.

Spray park

Vancouver has several "spray parks" around town which are great for when the weather is nice.  Taylor and Jordan introduced Molly to her first one and I think she's hooked.  It was followed up by some tasty fish and chips and of course, ice cream.  Thanks, Roy, Taylor, and Jordan for such a fun day!
